Clark Family 2012

School is out.

Brooklyn had 6th grade recognition on Tuesday, and she received the Gold recognition award from the President of the United States.  In order to earn this she had to maintain a 3.5 GPA from 4-6th grade, and score advanced on the North Dakota State Assessment Test in Mathematics or Science. We are so proud of her, and she was grinning from ear to ear.

Chase had his 8th grade recognition today.  He was recognized for his activities in Middles School. Football, Track, Basketball, Student Council, and Honor Roll.  This year he has gone from a boy into a young man.  Shaving, voices changes, and more maturity.

Talli is officially done with Preschool, and it is on to all day Kindergarten next year.  I have mixed feelings about this moment.

Boston and Alora are losing their best friends this year. They are moving to Rigby with their mom, who is also my best friend.  We aren't nearly as excited about the rest of the year as we were. :(  It has been a great year though and we are very excited the summer.

Phil is moving into his new office next week. I am excited for him to have a quiet place to work especially during summer time when all the kids are home.  He can still work at home if he wants, but it is great for him to have his own space.....where no one stills his tape and their office supplies LOL!

I am headed to Spokane tomorrow to spend the week with Lacie, and her family.  I am taking Brooklyn and Alora with me.  They saved up enough money to make up the difference in cost from me driving with them as opposed to riding the train.

This next school year will see Chase enter High School, Brooklyn enter Middle School, Alora in 5th grade, Boston 2nd Grade, and Talli as a Kindergartner.  Leaving me home alone all school day.  I have no idea what I am going to do with myself.

Thanks for posting Kami! I miss you guys and love to here updates. I am so proud of your kids and can't wait to see them soon. I can't believe Alora is going to be in 5th. The rest I have been able to keep track of for the most part, but I swear she should be going into 4th. :)
